During the winter, there are plenty of reasons to pop into Nathaniel's Pub because of its close proximity Blue Cross Arena, which hosts lots of indoor events. But don't forget about this downtown haunt when the temperatures rise.

The place
There's a lot to love about Nathaniel's in the summertime — like a deck that can accommodate up to 80 people. For the Fourth of July weekend, Nathaniel's made room outdoors for 50 more people by putting up a tent.

"Hands down, we get the best view of the fireworks," says Kelly Fiorini, 30, of Rochester, the pub's jack-of-all-trades.

Ready for Corn Hill?
Nathaniel's is; it'll offer all kinds of draft specials from Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 12, to coincide with the annual arts festival.

In addition, the pub is hosting pre- and post-parties on nights when Party in the Park concerts are going on across the street at the Riverside Festival Site. On those Thursdays, Nathaniel's offers $3 Heineken, Heineken Light and Amstel Light bottles and drafts.

Tuesdays with more
Tuesday night at Nathaniel's is Ladies Night, when $1 and $2 draft specials are served. And guys, don't worry, Nathaniel's has Jagermeister shot specials just for you. Nathaniel's also hosts beer pong contests on Tuesdays. Interested competitors just need to sign up at the door.
