Barhopper: Tribeca

When Tribeca's Maurizio Burroni says his High Falls nightclub is "nice-looking" he's not kidding.

Chandeliers, private VIP lounges, and an impressive raised DJ booth really raise the "bar."

The Place:
There's a large dance floor to the left, when you enter, with strobe lights dancing across the entire club. Then there are the VIP booths, which come with bottle service and have comfortable couches and curtains that can be drawn for privacy.

Also, parties can reserve the upstairs deck overlooking the dance floor. The stairwell is guarded by a bouncer so clients can get the max out of their celeb experience.

The Crowd: "Keeping higher standards," the goal of head bartender and manager Jeff Buchorr, 34, hasn't paid off in attendance, but the club does have popular events currently on its schedule and upcoming attractions that will certainly catch some attention.

Fashion Fridays: Running until Oct. 10, 98PXY hosts Fashion Fridays, a fashion show at Tribeca that has been well attended since its start in August. People at the show can enter to win prizes, including designer purses, spa gift certificates (such as a $50 package to Beau Monde Spa and Salon in Victor), clothing gift certificates and spray tan packages.

Upcoming events: Tribeca has planned several events to bring more people to its High Falls venue. Tribeca will host an MTV party feature two Real World cast members, a Barack Obama support reception, and on Thursday, Oct. 16, the Metromix Rochester "Blue Carpet" launch party.
