Weekly DJ dance parties, such as Manic Mondays 80's Dance Party, Psychedelic Therapy on Tuesdays and Thursday Night Shakedown. Pool table, video game machine and photo booth. Rock, punk, metal, folk, and indie bands.

California Brew Haus

The tunes range from live heavy metal to southern rock, including some national musical acts, at this neighborhood joint now in business nearly 40 years. There's a vast selection of bottled micro and imported beers. Monday and Wednesday nights there's a full dinner of American-style cuisine. Lunch is served daily. Located in the city's Maplewood neighborhood, the California Brew Haus' other entertainment includes video and NY State Lotto games, and there are seven TVs for sports watching.

Daisy Dukes

Country themed bar/club offering dancing and a mechanical bull. Hours: Thursday 10:00 pm to 2:00 am Friday 7:00 pm to 2:00 am Saturday 10:00 pm to 2:00 am

Dub Land Underground

The upstairs is a neighborhood establishment while the downstairs rocks to live bands on Friday and Saturday nights, karaoke on Sundays, open jams on Tuesdays and DJs on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Liquid

Located in the heart of the St. Paul Quarter downtown, Liquidfeaturestwo dance floors, a go-go cage, laser lightshows, andan interactive text message service which allows visitors to post messages on Liquid's TV. The club also features severals DJs for parties as well as themse events such a Black and White parties on Labor Day and Memorial Day, among others.

Muther's

Open Wednesday through Sunday with drag shows every night at 11. Special events include "The Pride Party" and "Drag Idol."

One Restaurant & Lounge

Located on Ryan Alley off of East Avenue, One Restaurant and Lounge is part club, part eatery. In fact, it has two Web sites one for its American bistro-inspired restaurant and one for its late-night club. The first floor is the restaurant, which has a full bar and is decorated in a dark, tropical theme. Upstairs, to the right, is the dance floor. Like a scene out of a Las Vegas promotional video, the posh club room has black and white dcor, including white chandeliers, black leather couches and LED-light accents. The upstairs area also has a full bar, food service and recently opened roof-top deck. Three nights a week, One features regular DJs. Here's the schedule: Ed Santiago and Jeff Clarkson spin house music on Thursdays, Jon Herbert spins house, hip-hop and Top 40 remixes on Fridays, and Jay Mora (aka DJ Starpusher), Santiago and DJ California spin Top 40 remixes on Saturdays.

Panorama Night Club and Sports Bar

Karaoke, techno, 80s nights, comedy nights, dancing. Seven TVs broadcasting sports. Open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturdays. Closed Sundays and Tuesdays.

Open Monday-Saturday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m., food served Monday 5-10 p.m., Thursday 5-11 p.m. Menu varies from burgers and sandwiches to full entrees. Live bands Friday and Saturday nights play country music and country line dancing and lessons are offered every night at 7:30.

Tilt Nightclub and Ultra Lounge

Located on Central Avenue in a turn-of-the-century building near the Amtrak station, Tiltis a three-in-one destination. It has a dance club which has beenupgraded with new lights and a digital sound system.A courtyard has a full bar and its own sound system, and there is an ultra lounge, a low-key area with its own bar, for people looking to relax and talk with friends.The drag show on Thursday nights is one of Tilt's most popular attractions. The club has also teamed with radio station 98PXY to host shows. Tiltoffers various themes on Saturdays, ranging from film to fashion. Levy also recently upgraded the stage area of the club in hopes of bringing in live music.

Tribeca

Tribeca aims to bring a sense of Big Apple sophistication to the High Falls district. "We're trying for a big city appeal, absolutely," says owner Maurizio Burroni. The club also features "Supertini" martini selections ($9), all made from fresh ingredients and featuring flavors such as banana, Key lime and Bikina ? a mix of Tanqueray gin, blue curacao, peach schnapps and fresh lemon juice.

Venu Resto-Lounge and Night Club

Since opening in the summer of 2006, Venu Resto-Lounge and Nightclub has prided itself on working with promoters to create unusual events for Rochesterians look for a dance party. From an after-hours party for comedian Tracy Morgan to promoting new fashion boutiques, Venu meets the challenge of being an upscale, urban club.Located in the in the St. Paul Quarter, Venu has two levels, and often two DJs create different vibes on each floor.

Water Street Music Hall

The Water Street Music Hall offers two spacious night clubs under the same roof (500 and 1,100 capacity), patrons can enjoy national, regional and local acts. A diverse schedule of acoustic, rock, jazz, blues, reggae and hip-hop performers take the stage each week. Many shows are open to teenagers, but supervision by someone age 18 or older is required.
