Live music, 400 artists and thousands of visitors to converge on Corn Hill

Corn Hill Arts Festival
The 41st annual Corn Hill Arts Festival is Saturday, July 11 and sunday, July 12.

The Corn Hill Neighborhood Association will host thousands on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, for the 41st annual Corn Hill Arts Festival. This year's event features four stages of live music including bluegrass, jazz, reggae, rock and classical rock, as well as art works by more than 400 artisans from across the United States and Canada.

There's also an "Emerging Artists Expo" showcasing works by Rochester's young and up-and-coming artists. The Children's Activity Area includes the Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the historic Corn Hill neighborhood, off Exchange Boulevard and Plymouth Avenue. Admission is free.

Free shuttle bus service will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday (the final shuttle bus run each day will depart from the Corn Hill Arts Festival shuttle stop at South Plymouth Avenue and Troup Street).

The shuttle stops are setup near parking areas that are at South Clinton Avenue and Woodbury Boulevard; Broad Street and South Avenue; Broad and Fitzhugh streets; South Plymouth Avenue and Main Street; and Bausch and Lomb Place Circle. Handicapped parking will be available in the parking lots at South Plymouth Avenue and Broad Street for $5.
