In 30 words or less, describe your artistic endeavors. Finding the perfect harmony between materials, color and texture and extending that to the wearer.

What's your favorite thing to do besides create art? Dancing to my 4-year-old son Lorenzo's drumming, cooking my grandma's recipes for my family and going to the Zen Center.

Why is it important for you to be part of the Clothesline Festival? There's something about being a part of the lineage of artists and in a community setting. It's timeless.

Where do you go to get inspired? Listening to my favorite tunes while putting thanks out there. Creativity comes from what I found to be the "no hang-ups zone" within oneself. For me, finding inspiration is more of an internal process, cruising the open space.

Where do you get your coffee? Porto Rico coffee in New York City.

What's your adult beverage of choice? I don't drink much alcohol. I do like Orange Fanta on special occasions.

Describe your personal style. Maybe universal or international, feminine.

What was the last great meal you had? Mmm ... A Mango in the Grass salad at Bodhi's restaurant.

What's the next movie you want to see? Next movie on the list is Almovodar's Volver.

What's the last CD you bought (or downloaded)? A bunch of M.I.A and the Blind Boys of Alabama - Spirit of the Century.

Have you ever met a celebrity? I saw Gael Garcia Bernal on the corner of First [Avenue] and St. Mark's [Place in Manhattan]. We caught eyes as I crossed the street; it was good.

What's your favorite book? Probably Like Water For Chocolate.

What's in your glove compartment? A whole bunch of crap I should really clean out.

When's bedtime? Early - after my son falls asleep - or too late. Depends on my need for sleep.

What do you do for exercise? Yoga and walking through the woods.

What one thing - not person or pet - would you save in a fire?  Assuming I'm already wearing my daily jewelry armor, it's a toss-up between the gold Indian nose rings ... or my MacBook.

What makes you cringe? Rodents.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, living or dead, who would it be? Isis, a goddess in ancient Egyptian mythology, does that count?

If you could relive one moment, what would it be? Seeing the eyes of my newborn son open and recognizing a fellow old soul.

Who should be the next president? Barack Obama.
