Whatever month you have vacation, chances are you can find a festival to your liking in the Rochester region.
The area is host to hundreds of festivals and seasonal events each year. Events include county fairs; film, food and music showcases; cultural celebrations; air shows; and professional golf tournaments.
The Lilac Festival, which runs from May 8 through 17, is one of the largest New York state festivals. It traditionally begins the area’s festival season, although this year’s Rochester/High Falls International Film Festival runs from April 23 through 25. The following are just some of the festivals and special events being offered this year.
