BarbaraWarren wrote about Elmwood Inn

A large group of us had been going to Elmwood Inn for years on Sunday nights late, when we were often the only people there. last Sunday the bartender was quite rude. One of our group approached the owner the next day, and he blew her off. I posted a negative review on Google Places about the incident. Suddenly the owner wants to talk - but NOT about improving customer relations. Nope- he threatened me with legal action if I did not remove the review. (Like that's ever gonna happen)For any who care, here is the review I posted on Google Places: "Barbara Warren (You) reviewed in the last week Food Good Decor Good Service Good Never again - rude bartender, uncaring owner. Wait staff is friendly and competent, but upper management doesn't care about customer service at all."

For $20, they should have additionally provided cider, donuts, a pamphlet with some background info, and/or a t-shirt that said “I survived the Mt. Hope Cemetery Ghost Walk”. End note: Don't waste your time or money. They obviously took advantage of us. If you want the real deal, do an actual tour through Mt. Hope cemetery through the cemetery directly.

What a rip off! Went on the 10PM Terror tour. We had a total group of about 25 people on this tour. I had been informed via email from this touring company that if the tour had over 10 participants that the cost per person would only be $10. The tour guide still charged everyone $20. For $20/person I was expecting something magical. Instead I received something A LOT less than that. It was a tour on the side walk spoken through a megaphone - a tour that only walked about 2-500 yards down 1 single block. The guide gave us some history and background about the graveyard and a couple of ghost stories, but that's about it. They let us play with dousing rods at the end of the tour, but that was the only thing worth-while. I'm still trying to figure out where the "terror" part figured in? The only people in costume were the ones leading the tour. This was really a $5-10 tour. The guides just took advantage of the customers.

SkinCityBodyPainting commented on Body painting

Hey Earl! This is Robin of Skin City Body Painting. First of all I agree with the artists above about using skin safe bodypaint and not acrylic paint. Secondly, I am honored that you are inspired by my work but I am a little upset to see that many of your paintings are direct copies of mine. I wold love to talk to you about my process of researching and sketching to see if I can help you find your own inspiration. It's just not very professional or considerate of you, and if you accepted money for it it may even be illegal under copyright law. I would love to talk to you directly to help resolve this issue. I am easy to contact, just search SkinCity Body Painting.

We went to the new location in Victor, NY on Saturday night April 24, 2010. We gave our name to the hostess for dinner and were told that it would be about 35 minutes wait. We waited well over an hour to be called on, which never happened. We decided to eat at the bar and ordered our food to eat there and the food did not come out for about a half hour after that and when it finally came out, it was cold and tasteless. Service was extremely slow and it was very disorganized. We will not be going back.
