98PXY’s first Summer Jam gets overloaded (June 4)

Things got a little crazy at the first 98PXY Summer Jam. According to Rochester police, more than 1,500 people were denied entry when the parking lot of the ferry terminal at the Port of Rochester reached capacity.

It was estimated that some 4,000 bogus tickets were printed for the event featuring 3OH!3, The Ting Tings and other acts. Between 25 and 30 police officers were called in to help control the situation.
