This whole business of splitting TV seasons into two halves that air months apart — I'm looking at you,
Breaking Bad is for the birds, really, so as we wait for Series 7 of Doctor Who to resume sometime next year, here's a little something to tide loyal Whovians over: 50 minutes of just-posted footage from London Comic Con 2012 last month featuring an audience Q&A session with star Matt Smith and executive producer Caroline Skinner.
As you can see from the clips below, Smith talks about his role as the Eleventh Doctor and his eventual departure ("My time isn't up yet. But, inevitably,every doctor has their day"). The best part may be when a very young-sounding boy asks about the whereabouts of Amy Pond, to which Smiths replies, "Amy is having a lovely time in New York somewhere and she's writing a book and she eats fish fingers and custard every Thursday night."
Should be enough to tide us all over until the Christmas special.
