Primetime lesbian soap "The L Word" may be dead and gone, but Showtime hopes it will strike some Bravo-esque gold with a docu-drama following six sapphic friends around Los Angeles with a film crew. It could be just another "Real Housewives." Then again, Showtime's penchant for boundary-pushing and love of nudity could make it something else entirely.
