Since opening in the summer of 2006, Venu Resto-Lounge and Nightclub has prided itself on working with promoters to create unusual events for Rochesterians look for a dance party. From an after-hours party for comedian Tracy Morgan to promoting new fashion boutiques, Venu meets the challenge of being an upscale, urban club.Located in the in the St. Paul Quarter, Venu has two levels, and often two DJs create different vibes on each floor.

The upstairs is a neighborhood establishment while the downstairs rocks to live bands on Friday and Saturday nights, karaoke on Sundays, open jams on Tuesdays and DJs on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

SoHo East is a Manhatta-style nightclub with a large outdoor deck, barand resident DJs Jestyr, Sweet and Four-Three spinning the hottest music, and the club also hosts a variety of events, such as a special performance Flo-Rida in 2008. The club sits above Daisy Dukes and A-Pub live. Hours arefrom 9:30p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
